what have u been doing?

It's amazing how time flies. This is my last semester studying in UUM and my last "long break/holiday" before i go back to study and then start working. I've been telling myself to enjoy my last holiday cos i don't think i'm going to have another one in a long while. I want to laze around, sleep alot, do nothing and eat to my hearts content. But this holiday, i did not do all that. In fact i was always awake and thinking, planning...there's never a time where i can really relax and not worry about anything.

Then again..i remembered praying to God that i do not want to waste my holiday by doing nothing. I want to do something to improve something. Anything. I want to do something for Him. I want to be busy for my God no matter where i am. I may be having a break from my studies but this service I pledge myself to will never end. I can't imagine not having my God in my life. With Him much closer to me in my life, my boring life have become interesting. And i can't wait what will be for me in the future.

As the holidays coming to an end soon, enjoy the rest of ur holidays no matter which semester u are now. I challenge you to draw near to God and u'll see many wonders in ur life unfold..

Blessed Christmas to you and a Happy new year.

Healthy Day

When the first time I heard we all have a healthy day as 1 of our church activity. I’m so excited. I feel that our church really make a big effort in the part of fellowship. I really feel happy; because this activity is the first time we carry out and I feel that is good opportunities for those people seldom do exercise. And I am the one who in charge of it.
First I was worry, because it’s hard to me to fix a date, time, and which sport for this activity. If I not mistaken, the date for healthy day has been changed for 3 times, always meet up with other things. If we do open sport like swimming, jogging or play kayak, we need to consider the weather also, is not suitable for us to go if raining.
So, one day Mr. Luke TSH-our church’s treasurer suggested me go for badminton, because it is indoor sport and is suitable for boy and girl. That’s really a good idea. Thanks for his suggestion. We can have a mix double match among all of us, and then the winner will be our badminton king and queen. Sound great and fun right?? ^-^ Then I try to work up for it. But unfortunately, that week the badminton court is been use for futsal’s competition. So, headache again to think of what sport should we go for.
Archery – this sport come out to my mind. ^-^ It’s easy for me to arrange it, because I am one of the archery team. Thank God, all come out right. I still remember that afternoon is raining. I was affair that this healthy day can’t make it again. I was praying over and over again. Thank God, He answered my prayer. The rain stop before the time we start. I want to thank for those people who pray together with me for this event, thank you so much!!
God is so real, right? He let me think of the verse of Matthew 7:7 (Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you), this is His promise for all of us. I would like to encourage all of you, pray always. God will listen to your prayer. Amen! All the time, God is good!
It’s really enjoyed for me to teach them how to play, and found out them really cute when playing. Scare to get hurt when pull the bow, so really very careful. Some of them really excited after shoot in the bull’s-eyes. Thank God for blessed us such a good time to have fun together. I hope if have the chance again; we can have healthy day part 2. Is really fun! I enjoy it.
In here I would like to give thanks to all the CG Leaders for encourage their CG member to go for this healthy day, and thanks for being a responsible leader for giving your cooperation to me. Thanks for your hard work! Brothers and sisters, let’s continue do it for God. ^-^ take care always. May God bless you!

Kuala Perlis's Dinner
Every semester, we will never miss out the chance go to Hai Tian Restaurant to have dinner together. This event always is the first event that our church will do. 24th July 2008, is the date that has been choose. We rent 1 car, plus Joshua’s car and Luke’s car and Pastor Leonard’s van; total 4 cars are going to Kuala Perlis that evening. P + S + J = 34, means that Pastor Leonard, and the seniors and the juniors total up are 34 people, who will go to have dinner together. Really happy that many of the church members can make it to go, we can use this opportunity to fellowship together and get to know each other. That evening, we order 6 dishes and 1 dessert. YUMMY!!!
At here, special want to thank to Amanda, Joyce Wong and Joel, who helping us to arrange the transport, foods and other stuff. And thank to some of the leader who encourage the other go to this Kuala Perlis’s dinner. Because of their effort, this event can end up successfully. By God’s mercy upon all of us, we have a safe journey to go and come back. Thank God for given us a wonderful day!
